It is interesting, and makes for a bit of a scary election night - rural areas are faster to report. But, I am from in the middle of a heavily populated area attached to both Chicago and a Great Lake. That all goes blue, as you can see from MI, OH etc. look at the map of the northern IN counties and you'll see what I mean.


But yes, I saw last night when they were showing about how they expected things to go and how it went in 2008 that that area was blue as well.
Stick enough people in close proximity to each other and they become more liberal.
