It is awesome. :D

We have this thing at my college called big sib/little sib, where the freshman each get a "big sis" and then one week every morning they put a present for us ouside our doors. And at the end of the week we get to guess who our big sib is during tea (oh yeah we also have friday afternoon tea in our houses here...which is kick ass).

Sounds like Secret Santa, but 3 months early!


Lol yeah it basically is! Tho its more like Hanukkah than Xmas since its for multiple days :P

Not only was I greeted today morning with tons of chocolate, an adorable poster of a puppy, and a kid rock cd (yeah i'm a little confused about that one actually) but i also got a very sketchy note from my big sib saying that i need to pack a bag for friday night with a flashlight, matches, goggles, a slingshot, and matches.

A Kid Rock CD? *cough* regifting *cough*

Haha it is regifting but whatever. I wasn't expecting any presents at college so its pretty cool regardless. The poster was regifted too but that was probably the best present I got because it belonged to someone who graduated last year, and there's a lot of traditions at smith that have to do with "willing" your stuff to someone when you leave, so getting that poster was a big deal :P If that made any sense.

You need to take 2 boxes of matches? Creepy.

I think the plan is they'll take you out into the forest and leave you there as some kind of insurance scam. Take water and energy bars. Oh, and take rocks to fire with your slingshot, you'd be amazed at how crappy the ones you pick up in the forest are. For even more fun, take bungers, and fire the lit ones! Pandemonium (and arson charges) will shortly follow.


Um....please tell me you aren't speaking from personal experience...

This is a good week :P

It gets better, trust me :P (Even though sometimes they have these things called...exams I think. I'm sure they're not important over there, they sure as hell aren't over here)

Haha psh exams. Thats just there to make parents think their money is going towards more than just drinking and partying :D
