...but it's a game, not a car, or money from a poor person. It's not okay if he stole it (I don't really see you mentioning why exactly you are sure he did, though) but I also don't see what the big deal is.

I'd keep it, play it and simply not buy things from him anymore. Friends don't rat on friends for such minor things. And tossing the game doesn't help anyone at this point anymore either.

Can you tell, I am quite the opportunist. But I sleep well at night ;)
