Umlauts Palatine Send a noteboard - 18/03/2013 02:39:49 PM

View original postHühner has the umlaut and is neuter, or is alternatively plural and still has the umlaut. In neither sense does it seem to make any sense here, and in neither sense does it take keinen, unless you are using a dative plural, but then you cannot use haben.

I don't have the inclination or time to produce a vowel with an umlaut on a computer screen when I so rarely write a word that requires one.

As for sense, what did you think I was trying to say?
