It had been fairly warm the week before, highs in the 50s, and the snow has mostly melted as of this morning, but our winter weather tends to pretty erratic on the downwind side of the Great Lakes, especially in the winters. Its not that odd to have a foot of snow on the ground come January, then a week of t-shirt weather, then another snowstorm.
