but i do hope that home field advantage counts for *something* since dallas seems to not be able to tie their own shoes without assistance from the other team...

Sadly, since it's not a "big game" Dallas may not choke this time. Maybe if we can make it to a game against them in the Super Bowl; I know a LOT of Denver fans still want payback for SB XII. ;) Poor, poor Craig Morton, whose claim to fame is losing Super Bowls for both Conferences and being replaced by Staubach and Elway. :(
