/ NSSP: Video abstracts for scientific papers Artsapat Send a noteboard - 01/10/2013 02:27:49 PM

The journal Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, part of Dove Press, is now offering to host "video abstracts" on their website. I thought that was a really interesting idea. Authors send in a short video message, explaining the reasoning of a scientific paper, and the outcomes. This can then be published on the journal's website, or on YouTube.

You want to see an example? Well, what about this one. Which happens to be mine.

This is my first video abstract, for a paper that's just now going into final editing. It should be published fairly soon now. I really enjoyed doing it. It's also a very steep learning curve, and I hope I can improve the audio quality if I do this again.

The mystery deepens... I think. *MySmiley*
