Well, it's always nice to see new people here, since you plainly don't know me at all... Cannoli Send a noteboard - 15/10/2014 10:09:18 AM

Pretty clear your objection to the use of brave (which really shouldn't bother you enough to make a post about it,

ROFLMAO.
people do lots of stupid things far worse than that) is just a chance to express your rather repulsive, ideologically driven views on suicide behind the thinnest of veils.

In the first place, who are you to prioritize what should be inspiring other people's posts?
In the second place, what on earth makes you think I need that for an excuse, or a veil for my ideologically driven views? If you really think I'm ashamed to equivocal about my opinions, run a search for posts by me with the word abortion in it. You'll probably find something you think it much worse.

I actually am annoyed at the misappropriation of terminology, and decided to post addressing that aspect of the issue, because it might actually do some good as far as discussing our respective views goes, whereas a reiteration of my position would be nothing more or less than a rant serving no constructive purpose. I put my own position on suicide in the post to make it clear, rather than attempt to hide it and avoid controversy while discussing the semantics.

And since in the particular case of suicide, all the perpetrators would not be reading this, why would I have to worry about offending them?

That really your play is it? I was hoping for something at the very least not so stupid as to be boring.
Well you got me. I wasn't really expecting anything better than pointless, intellectually bankrupt affectations of superiority.

What is "brave" about avoiding pain or embarassment? - 10/10/2014 02:07:50 AM 857 Views
The word "brave", like the word "hero", was destroyed in the 1980s or so. - 10/10/2014 02:38:49 PM 720 Views

For the same reason you feel like you can apply your morals to suicide. - 17/10/2014 12:51:37 AM 605 Views
I'm confused. Are you saying there is no such thing as courage? *NM* - 16/10/2014 02:25:36 AM 326 Views
