As another fellow Texan have 8 pages of judges and 1 proposition was not very helpful. Why do not we not move to a system where the governor appoints, The 31 member Senate approves and then the judge has job security.

The only way he can get kicked out is if someone does a petition (similar to California) and if X signatures are signed then it goes on the ballet as a retention system.
