I'd say, from this one statistical match (so there is HUGE room for it to be wrong), that the answer isn't as cut-and-dried as many want to portray for whatever reason.
Whether or not the original post was, my comment was made purposely because I'm getting tired of everyone ignoring the issues (racism, socioeconomic-squeeze, etc) that cause imbalance in the system. I'm not accusing you of doing this, but your post created a sound platform for my current soapbox.
As it exists currently, you are right. From those statistics, it may not be appropriate to suggest that there is unfairness based on color, if looking only at the balance of arrests/crime to accidental killings and not at the background.
