Economically they're back in the crapper, but then again they lived for most of the 1990s in that situation and had no revolution. So it's going to be miserable going for lots of people over there, but don't expect Putin to fall. In fact, he may be in a stronger position because he's wiping out what's left of the oligarchs right now. All that will be left are the military and KGB types.
