Neither seems accurate or particularly nice.

For the record, I'm in the middle. I do think some things should be saved, and feel a little sad that this has happened, but it's ultimately up to the owner. This is coming from a girl who moves huge trees so that they don't get knocked down for "progress," so I don't know what that says about me...
