If I recall correctly, Betfair betting markets had Hillary Clinton and Obama running neck-and-neck (50% chance each) at this stage for Democratic nominee, whereas the polls showed Hillary ahead.
But yes, of course both polls and betting markets should get more accurate as the election draws closer.
