... so much as about whether stating it out loud is, a) productive for the achievement of the intended goal, and b) consistent with a general approach of not hurting people's feelings unnecessarily.

Of course if one doesn't care about either of those two things, or if one's goal is something other than promoting peace in the Middle East, then one can speak at length about any association popping into one's head for whatever reason.
