I've only said this like a million times recently for people that I converse with in different places in the US.

I'm a 35 minute drive from the border....

The wall will do nothing to deter movement of people (and contraband) back and forth long term. Pretty much the only thing that will get stopped will be animal life that migrates back and forth (think land based animals...and we have these little birds that cannot fly very high off the ground).

Those animals will certainly be stopped by it.
