I love eBooks so much. The Shrike Send a noteboard - 24/04/2017 02:54:21 PM

I've tried numerous times to read through e-books and I don't know if I've actually ever finished one. It just lacks something compared to a paperback or a hardcover that leaves me disinterested in the content. I enjoy going to bookstores, opening a crisp new book for the first time, and having that wonderful new book smell. Are you strictly a book person, mixed, or e-book only?

I find the experience to be quite enjoyable. I love reading on the Kindle app on my iPad. I love the glow of the screen. I like being able to look up words I may not know immediately. I love the search function within books. And clicking on hyperlinked notes is great. I also love knowing I have all my books with me at all times. I love using the library and being able to check out an eBook and have it downloaded on my iPad immediately. Best of all, I love knowing that when I move, I won't have to worry about packing 300 paper books and then moving them and then unpacking them. It's amazing.

But other people are not as enamored of them. And that's ok. As long as people are reading books then I support whatever form they are using.
