My son is off the charts for height and weight (at 2, he is the size of an average 3 year old), but has never been turned down for coverage. Also, I don't recall having to report his measurements when I applied for his coverage.
At any rate, hopefully these kinds of stories will shame our politicians into real healthcare reform.

He was off the chart in height... his weight was still on the chart. And it was only high because he was so tall.
