I couldn't help... ironclad Send a noteboard - 13/10/2009 02:52:50 PM
The movie is a remake. Of a miniseries that came out in 2003. In the english language. A VERY GOOD miniseries, I might add. There is not a single good reason to remake any of it, regardless of who plays in which version and how good it is.

Remakes irritate me. I will allow that there are exceptions to my puritanism (the new BSG), but these are rare and far between.

I agree entirely.
But I believe added horror is added when the remake can clearly not be as good as the original.

...but think of Kevin Kline in Fish called Wanda:
"Oh, you English are *so* superior, aren't you? Well, would you like to know what you'd be without us, the good ol' U.S. of A. to protect you? I'll tell you. The smallest fucking province in the Russian Empire, that's what! So don't call me stupid, lady. Just thank me." :D
*MySmiley*

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.

Don't really need one. There is an earlier rulin which makes this one problematic, I think? Camilla - 14/10/2009 08:49:22 AM 775 Views
