I was totally going to make a post pretty much just like this, save it was going to be for a year instead of a week and the participants would be working for their respective governments. "Secondment" was the succinct and silly title I had in mind.

I'm going to go with Iran, too. It's one of those countries which our media limns in very incomplete and simplistic ways.
