disgruntled conservative Anglicans. That way he can bolster the conservative elements in Catholicism and try to fight off the increasing calls for reforms on topics such as contraception and marriage for priests.
I have no care myself towards Anglicanism or Catholicism but what does this say about Ratzinger and his efforts against reform in the Catholic church? He doesn't want any. ;)
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
