Okay, more organized survey-like bit:

1. Have you had swine flu? What was it like for you? (Symptoms, duration.)


I haven't had it yet...*crosses fingers and hopes to avoid it*

2. Do you know anyone who has?


Many family members and friends of my coworkers have/have had it, but nobody I know directly.

3. Is your local community being affected? What measures are they taking now?


I haven't seen any sort of specific measures outside of the office. We had to do a training module on H1N1, and the central office keeps sending out tips and info on it.

4. Have you ever been quarantined for any reason? What was it? How did you amuse yourself in the meantime?


I haven't...but I doubt it would be much different than my ideal vacation!

5. Are you nervous about swine flu, or do you still think it's been overblown?


I guess I am a bit nervous about it. I'm one of those high risk folks. And once I get sick, it takes me soooooo long to recover. My husband and I can both get sick at the same time. He'll be well in 3 days; I'll still be sick in 3 weeks.

We both work with the public, so we'll certainly be exposed. I got the regular flu shot last week, but I haven't seen the H1N1 offered anywhere.
