I get attached to stuff. It's a personal failing.
You sound Buddhist, there. I admit some Buddhist philosophy has affected me. Removing attachments to the material world. And while the ideas in the books are not material, the books themselves are.
It's more of a problem in that I can create some superbly tangential connection between everything in my life, so I get attached even to junk.
I like the Buddhist bit, though. I'm going to act like that was my intent.
