Aside from the obvious vegetarian viewpoint, would we agree that it's a "man" thing to insist upon a big ol' hunk of beef (or other substantial meat portion) at most meals?

I would say this is primarily American, but that's too restrictive. "Western" may be too broad, but we'll lean that way anyway. And I still think it's more of a male requirement than female.

Thoughts?


I expect it's due to worrying that a non-meat meal won't be as substantial or filling.


It's an existential matter. If some animal didn't die to put food on the table nature wins. ANd we really can't have nature winning.
