a head honcho who is actually an active part of the community. Mingling with the commoners was never wotmania's bag. I'm not faulting him but he wasn't very interested in the community portion of his creation (or at least didn't seem to be.) It'll be cool to be able to catch Ben on the CMB from time to time.


Saying that mingling with the common folk was "never" wotmania's bag isn't fair. He was quite socially active with the site members the first few years. It would be a fairer comparison to see how much Ben interacts eight or ten years from now.


I don't remember very many times he would participate in conversations that he didn't start. There were some, to be sure, but it wasn't often. I'm sure he interacted with you admin types quite a bit but if you were to go back and check the CMBs I can't imagine you'd find him in many discussions that weren't started by him. Maybe that's just my perception but it is what it is. Maybe I am the only one who feels that way.
