The fact that both of them were born nearly half a century after Actium makes it fairly hard to include them in the Empire's birth, though.


I was referring to the aspect of Augustus as peacemaker and how its much easier to defend him as a "moral" emperor than, say, Palpatine. Not people who were emperors half a century later.
