Somehow I doubt this will have been an isolated incident. The culprits must be punished severely, and even if they turn out to be right in the end, there is no excuse for this, they have literally damaged their own cause worse then any AGW skeptics ever could have. Whatever the real science is, this incident provides all the ammunition anyone will need for years to come to object to any policy or science on the whole matter.
