a head honcho who is actually an active part of the community. Mingling with the commoners was never wotmania's bag. I'm not faulting him but he wasn't very interested in the community portion of his creation (or at least didn't seem to be.) It'll be cool to be able to catch Ben on the CMB from time to time.

Saying that mingling with the common folk was "never" wotmania's bag isn't fair. He was quite socially active with the site members the first few years. It would be a fairer comparison to see how much Ben interacts eight or ten years from now.


His social activity was on a lower level than most community members, so it's not really all that strange that people have that impression of him... come to think of it, I can't remember many conversations I have had with him after the great crash... :P

But you are right, he was a lot more active in the beginning.
