I have yet to drive an automatic that gives me nearly as much control as my ancient manual Camry.


Then you either A. don't know how to drive worth shit, B. are driving shitty cars in general or C. got a good, reliable old car.

I've never ever felt as though I needed more control with my car except in situations where the weather was so severely bad that I shouldn't have been driving anyways. If you need more control in an automatic then you're clearly not driving correctly.
