That was the gamble they took when they signed a 40 year old QB. They can't even get a decent draft pick now unless they put Allen on the block or something. He wants another ring though, and the Vikings have a decent chance of providing it if the running backs stop washing their hands in Crisco, so maybe he's got one more year left. I dunno though; the Saints pounded the crap out of him, and I wouldn't be eager to do that for five more months if I were him. A dozen hits and no sacks; maybe they should learn to let up after the whistle....
