Saying that all pimps are black is misguided at best. There are plenty of white pimps in prominent modern culture who fit this stereotype (bling, fuzzy hat, dice on the rearview mirror). It's a professional stereotype, not a racial one.

I haven't seen Princess and the Frog yet, though I'm intending to. Any accurate portrayal of race in New Orleans would be almost incomprehensible to most people, though.


I didn't mean to say that all pimps are black! As I said, the mental image that came with this car was Snoop Dog and probably also "pimp my ride", it all happened so fast There was no general statement about blacks or pimps involved.
