and that conversation is what brought the subject up that led to him saying Mexicans are not North Americans. His argument is that vodka is evil for it is made out of potatoes and potatoes are evil for they come from the ground and are dirty.

Grenadine is surprisingly good straight, too, if you REALLY wanna get drunk and there's nothing else handy. Again, not that I speak from personal experience.... :<img class=' />

Typically, the more clear an alcohol is the less chance you're really hungover the next day, or so I recently read on Wikipedia (the internets Mt. Horeb. ) Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure the ethanol content of most liquors is high enough to kill any bacteria (I may be mistaken, but I believe that was one of brewings selling points) and distillation should remove any mineral toxins. Also, tequila has a (dead) worm at the bottom of it, so it's not like it gets brownie points for cleanliness. ;) I'm still not following the logic, but I'm afraid to pursue it further without a means of defense lest something even more bizarre leaps out at me.
