Sorry about that Blackadder, I didn't mean anything by it, I just wanted to make the thread obvious to anyone that might be able to help. I guess I could have written, "okay all of you Welsh/English/Scottish/Irish/Northern Irish/People on the Isle of Man and other outlying islands..." (I'm joking).


No problem - I personally don't care, but some can be touchy about it. It would be like calling Americans "Yanks" - some would not appeciate that, others couldn't care less.

Also, I appreciate you reminding me about the American stereotype. I've been told this several times by some of my European friends, as well as my friends that have traveled abroad. It saddens me that Americans have such a stereotype abroad, but then again, when I hate a lot of people from my own country I really shouldn't expect people elsewhere to not hate them.
