We were touring with a big band jazz band my dad was in, along with the Wigan big band jazz band. We stayed with host families in Wigan and each day we were at a different city in the general area. Some places we went were: Westminster, Whitby, York...and it's just striking me I don't remember the names of other places we went. We went to this nice smaller town and it happened to be my birthday and one of the hosts bought me cream cakes because when he turned nine, it was WWII and he didn't get cake. Bestest old guy ever At the end of that week, my family spent a week in London on our own.

Anyway, we had a lot of fun just going to different places and seeing historical places everywhere.
