Things like that for numbers that were supposed to be MD doctors. But I've realized that I might know some people who know some townies, so we'll see if I get anywhere that way.

Write it down! Seriously, everything you notice. I always forget something when I'm in there, because even though I don't feel nervous, I act like a moron during most doc appointments. I hardly say anything. I think I feel as though I'm bothering them and they are going to think I'm stupid. So anyway, make a list and hand it over. If it makes you feel better, just say that you really don't know what's an issue and what's not, but you thought they'd want all the (possible) aberrations you've noticed.

Okay. *nods* Yeah, I get that too... I think it is partly because many doctors I've seen tend to be very efficient and competent-like, so they want to get information quickly, process it quickly, and send you on your way. There's not a lot of space to waffle on about things you aren't sure are a problem or are even real (for example, I really suck at noticing pain). The best doc I ever had was in the uni flu clinic here last semester. He was so calm and deliberate, despite the dozens of students flooding that clinic, that he actually noticed I couldn't breathe, took the time to administer a test, and taught me how to use an inhaler. It didn't take long at all, but it's not something most doctors would bother with if you didn't say anything. (And before you yell at me, I hadn't noticed it myself! Or registered it as Problem anyway.)
