Should I just go with that then? On the one hand, I'm clearly not going to die tomorrow, since it's already been going on a couple months - on the other hand, it's already been going on a couple months (and is getting worse), so delaying still more seems like a bad idea.

Write down a list of things to ask/say before you make phone calls and print out many copies. That way you can keep track of which office says what, and you won't forget to ask everything you want to ask.
Should I be asking things? I just want to find someone who will take me! (I am limiting it to people covered by my insurance, obviously, but beyond that, it seems like I'd have to see a doctor and know what was needed to actually ask any questions...)
