Which is huge. I'm reminded yet again of my deeply insightful observation that 95% of relationships is finding someone to put up with your crap, but by the same token, when you realize just HOW MUCH insane crap is out there and you're still willing to try, that's a major accomplishment. When you try, and it works, and it lasts, well, worst case scenario it'll be a hell of a ride, and you may just end up with a miracle all your own forever that no one can take, so why not grab it with both hands? I'm the Relationship Expert now, you see. :P

The funny thing is, with Vincent it doesn't feel like nearly 5 years, and it doesn't feel like I'm done getting to know him nor that I'm done learning from him. It's been one of the easiest and smooth sailing relationships I've ever been in.

Also a good sign, especially since it seems like by now if there were any landmines concealed you'd know about them, even if you don't know his favorite Smurf yet. That you've been together so long and the two of you are still growing individually and as a couple is very encouraging (in addition to being fun, eh?) I'm very glad ya'll are doing so well, so all I can really say is, "keep up the good work!" :)
