It wasn't that long ago, so maybe Celia's right things could get significantly better; I don't know the specifics about what's going on so I can't say. If it helps, my mothers uncle passed away about the same time as her dad, in his mid to late 70s--because he was using a chainsaw to trim a tree growing over his house, fell, and basically landed on his liver, so he only lasted a couple days in the hospital. Up till then he was fully active (hence the tree trimming. ) He wouldn't even have fallen except he was leaning out too far on the ladder and gravity kicked in on him.
