are you 110% sure it's the one for those iPods? i'm just asking because I have similar problems with mine, but it's just because the connection between my USB cable and my iPod is shoddy...and it's the proper USB cable!!!


And I think one of the cables was the one that came with my cousin's iPod. So I'm sure they're the proper cables.

It sounds a bit to me like there's some sort of funky connection problem. Did you try blowing out the dust?


Actually, I didn't. But it's a weird connection problem, because the few times that my iPod was recognized, it was there for good. Shifting or bumping it didn't cause it to eject, so I don't think it's a short or a faulty cable. But I could be wrong.

What? It's a classic fix!! You have to at least try it!!


I know. I usually do. I just haven't had problems like this for so long, I forgot!
