I don't know much about computers, but you could always try and re-install/update your drivers or activate the latest windows update. That's usually what works for me when I have these kinds of issues. Hope it helps, and good luck.


I tried a few things like that, I used device manager to search for any hardware changes when the iPods were connected, but it never even brought up a warning that malfunctioning hardware was connected, so I couldn't get to a place where I could update or reinstall those drivers. Plus, it's not my computer, so I didn't want to screw something up and then not have time to fix that problem.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
