kebabs are whole cuts of <insert grilled food here> on a stick, the gyro is a processed stack of meat and grease which is nothing even remotely like the types of cuts you would put on a skewer. someone is taking advantage of your drunken state to give you some incorrectly labeled food :P


At least, döner kebab doesn't, which is the only kind of kebab you really find in Europe. Shish kebab iirc does involve "sticks". :P
