Kebab is meat roasted on a skewer, and then put into the sandwich. It does not involve a "stick".

kebabs are whole cuts of <insert grilled food here> on a stick, the gyro is a processed stack of meat and grease which is nothing even remotely like the types of cuts you would put on a skewer. someone is taking advantage of your drunken state to give you some incorrectly labeled food

At least, döner kebab doesn't, which is the only kind of kebab you really find in Europe. Shish kebab iirc does involve "sticks".
A kebab is a freaking gyro! These people are crazies.
