well for one, resurrection isn't SUPPOSED to be cheap and accessible LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 07/03/2010 06:13:41 PM
I believe the material required for the spell is a diamond worth 5,000 gold pieces, and it's a rather high level spell that most clerics in the world shouldn't be.

But that's just DnD as I know it It could have changed with 4th edition, or just the way your DM plays the game

Anyway. As to your "friend".

What. A. Child. Grow up, it's just a game and the definitions of alignment are defined by the DM's guide anyways. The DM's guide would clearly demarcate your character's actions as "good but nonlawful", which is exactly what your character is. Furthermore, there is no point trying to argue real-life ethics with someone over the actions of their fictional character. It's a waste of breath for all parties and detracts from the game's enjoyment.

I'd have to say that if your friend left the DnD group, you all would be better off.
