ok, so i have an LCD HDTV as my main monitor and a couple days ago i noticed one of my pixels was dying. it kept flickering and flashing, then showing dead, then flickering, then dead, rinse and repeat. well, just a few moments ago i got tired of seeing it do this so i thumped the screen and the dead pixel went away so, even with all the advances we've seen throughout the years, especially with TVs, it still takes smacking it around to make it work right sometimes
