I'm just curious, not accusing you of ignorance or anything
A lot of what goes into the rituals and practices of a religion is cultural, and a lot of people seem to forget that the Hebrew line is middle eastern. Or guess "Near East" if you're speaking from a historical standpoint. whatever. you get my point
So I guess from the outside looking in, it always made sense to me. It is interesting to watch this though. Most of the Jewish prayer I have seen has been more secular and modernized.

Most of the Jewish prayer I have seen has been more secular and modernized.well technically speaking i was ignorant of the way this sect of jews pray, because like you said i have seen more modern and secular jewish prayer...but never anything like what the guy in the video was doing...i guess it only makes sense though....I guess since islam is a fairly newer religion than christianity and judaism you see more of us following the traditional prayer rituals but i had never been exposed to any other religion praying so much like us. although technically, we pray like them (jews)
