How does your head work when you read?

I tell the story to myself. I don't form images, I don't care for descriptions as they distract from the plot etc...


Interesting, this is what I was curious about.

Is it different when you read a text book?

Not really. I do try to force images at times though, because maths and physics are easier if you do have a clear image of what you are trying to do.

Is it different when you read a boring book?

Nope. Just that the story doesn't progress very fast. I get distracted by other things.



Ah, I see. Do you think you may have some kind of advantage over those who see images when they read? Like for example if you have easier to remember things?
