Even one or two states removed sees nothing but negativity about Mississippi. They see us as nothing more than racist cousin marrying rednecks. There are those here but there are lots of other places like that. I hate the people who can not move beyond the 1800's, No we do not still own slaves. I am tired of having to put up with people here who hate me because I am white. No I did not own a slave, None of my family has ever owned a slave. I am sick of hearing of how I have it so much better because I am white. Most animosity towards minorities that I have observed is justly deserved because of constant complaining.

I love when I get out of Mississippi for a time mainly because the minorities are less prone to blame all of their problems on me.
