I've had plenty of disappointments though. I made a bean stew the other night that I added too many beets too. I couldn't taste anything else I had added. It tasted okay, but not what I wanted.

Also I tried making more "classic" dolmathes the other day. Somehow, I ended up with WAY too much water inside my vine leaves, so they were water. In general, too, the rice was kind of tasteless. I'm not exactly sure how this happened, as I followed the recipe I had pretty closely (considering that I couldn't measure grams like it has listed. who uses grams for olive oil, yeesh!!)

Ah well. They were still edible :P
