He also assumes that the doctor knows about this behavior and is fine with it which is probably not likely. The truth is that many women who are in the position of needing an abortion are in emotional turmoil and just want to get through it and be done; they may not take the time to complain about her behavior. It is very likely the doctor doesn't even know or he would discipline or fire the biatch.
Then tell him if it is such a problem. My sympathy for the patient's emotional turmoil lies somewhere past "indifferent", between "schadenfreude" and "what can I do to augment it?".
