I understand that things are different in Italy and it sounds truly crapass the way they let them treat you over there. But this is not an Italian nurse Aisha is discussing. It is an American nurse being held to American expectations. And here, nurses are expected to be at the very least polite and nonjudgmental.

It was actually Canada that I speak of (although I am Italian I live in Canada and also hold Canadian citizenship), Italy is not so bad for rude doctors and such. And to be fair, Canada has it's fair share of great doctors and nurses too.

If in fact then you're simply going by American cultural standards, I cannot argue with you as I am not an American and don't know what you people believe on things like this. However, there was no distinction made between this woman being an America, Canadian, Brit, ect. and therefore I simply offered my view as I would have if she were Canadian, Italian or what have you.
