When I got beetles in the kitchen I handled it like this:
1. Jumping around.
2. Calling my friend Johan and crying.
3. Throwing out all food from the cupboards, still with Johan on the phone and crying.
4. Hovering the cupboards.
5. Cleaning the cupboards with aceton.
6. Throwing out all food from the fridge and freezer just to be sure.
7. Throwing out all bakingutilites.
8. Cleaning the kitchen throughly about ten times in two days.
9. Keeping all fooditems in the freezer for the rest of the time I lived in that apartment. Except fruit and vegetables of course.

It worked! I didnt get any more beetles.

I work full time, so I don't have time to do all that ... and I know two of my roommates are most likely just to ignore it until it becomes a serious serious problem. Hopefully the cats will continue to kill them if they appear! :(
