Someone reassure me ... if you get one cockroach, is it possible that that one cockroach is the only one ... or is there a 'hive' somewhere in my apartment complex that it came from? I don't think I can handle a cockroach infestation ... I will move out of here so fast.

I can get cheaper fucking studios on Staten Island or in Jersey than paying 650 a month to live in a cockroach infested environment. :X Granted those studios could have problems too. I can handle mice though, spiders, rats even ... at least its a furry mammal. But fucking cockroaches ... and this one was big, like 1.5 inches.

Should I call an exterminator? :x ...

It's pretty normal in a big city, no matter how tidy you are. Unless you live in a really new/renovated place. Most of the older places you'll run into this.

This place is old, and I'm in the basement ... I imagine my problems are simply compounded :x
